Use a Local Lender!

One of the key components to a smooth real estate transaction is a quality loan officer.  We've worked with clients who are convinced that they will get a better deal with an internet lender or with their Cousin Joe from Kalamazoo who doesn't even know how to pronounce Lompoc.  Well we're here to tell you, that rarely works out the way you'd hope.  In many cases, we've seen the "bargain" loan wind up costing several thousand dollars more than it should. 

When you work with a local lender, you are keeping your business in the community in which you live.  It also makes the transaction much more less bumpy, and if there are problems they are much easier to solve if we can go sit in their office - and sometimes we've been known to do just that.  The good news is, we are blessed with several outstanding lenders in Lompoc.  If you need a referral to someone who will take great care of you, we'll be happy to provide one.
